Support
Through the support of individuals, foundations, organizations and government agencies, the National Jazz Museum in Harlem is able to continue our mission to preserve, promote and present jazz by inspiring knowledge, appreciation and the celebration of jazz locally, nationally and internationally. Our vibrant collections, programs and performances stimulate creativity and excitement about the past, present and future of jazz and its artists, and your gift makes this possible.
Celebrate Harlem as a hub of jazz education, history and performance and join a community of music and art lovers. Our community members are dedicated to jazz and to keeping jazz artists, presenters and educators working. Through their generosity we are able to keep students engaged and to offer programming to current and future fans in the most accessible ways.
NJMH members enjoy exclusive benefits, including discounts on Museum merchandise, access to free concerts and lectures, the opportunity to meet artists, as well as invitations to Members’ Only special events.
Each year, because of the generosity of our supporters, we produce over 100 free and highly subsidized jazz workshops, performances and events that serve more than 100,000 people in Harlem, New York City, the U.S. and the world. Your gift allows us to showcase jazz and jazz-adjacent voices and perspectives that characterize and welcome the most inclusive diversity of audiences.
The National Jazz Museum in Harlem is a 501(c)(3) organization and your gift is fully tax-deductible.
Volunteers at the National Jazz Museum in Harlem play a vital role in the daily operations of the museum and will have the opportunity to facilitate meaningful experiences in the gallery space and during live performances. We are always seeking passionate volunteers to help us carry out our mission.
